Organized by the Agricultural Engineering Research Institute (AERI), NeoAb ۲۰۲۶ will bring together researchers, technology developers, knowledge-based companies, investors, and agricultural professionals to showcase innovative irrigation solutions and foster collaboration across the irrigation sector.

Advancing Smart Irrigation

Agriculture accounts for a substantial share of Iran’s total water withdrawals, making improved irrigation management and higher agricultural water productivity national priorities. Smart irrigation technologies offer practical ways to address these challenges by combining soil moisture monitoring, weather data, crop water requirements, decision-support systems, and automated irrigation controls.

When properly designed and implemented, these technologies can improve irrigation scheduling, optimize water application, and help reduce unnecessary irrigation. Their wider adoption also offers opportunities to accelerate research, advance technological development, and tailor innovative solutions to Iran’s diverse agricultural and climatic conditions.

Bridging Research and Innovation

NeoAb ۲۰۲۶ will provide a platform for showcasing innovative irrigation technologies and connecting researchers, technology providers, investors, and agricultural end users. By strengthening ties between research and industry, the event aims to accelerate the practical application of new technologies and support innovation in agricultural water management. V-TECH, AERI’s technology and innovation ecosystem, serves as the event secretariat.
